Marc Hechter
Marc Hechter is a Member-At-Large on the SNCSS Board. Currently,
he chairs the Department of Social Studies at Palo Verde High
School and teaches government and economics. Mr. Hechter
graduated from UNLV a long time ago; then spent 25 years being
mugged by reality in the public and private sectors before
becoming a teacher. Along the way he went to graduate school
three times, twice at UNLV (public administration and education),
and once at the University of Delaware (economic education and
entrepreneurship). Experience and education may not have made him
expert at anything, but it has made him opinionated.
